Fire Alarm Technician – Full Time

We have an immediate opening for a qualified Fire Alarm Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities include routine inspections, testing and servicing life safety product lines to the prescribed standards
  • Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting; programming and repairs of our customers fire alarm systems
  • Identifying code and non-conformance issues; and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
  • Duties may also include the installation of fire alarm systems
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Manager on all aspects of assignments including inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status of the job


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with any or all systems such as: EST, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Silent Night, Pyrotronics, Cerberus, Siemens
    Knowledge of test equipment
  • Comprehensive understanding of life safety and NFPA codes
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Demonstrated high-level of customer service, strong organization skills, and positive attitude are a must
  • Experience working in any or all of commercial/retail, industrial, residential, medical sites
  • Working knowledge of alarm panels, devices and critical components
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and ordinary software platforms (i.e. spreadsheets, word docs, database, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal skills (English) with the ability to complete clear and accurate detailed inspection reports and completion/submission of all required documentation
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Position regularly requires bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling and walking significant distances.
  • Ability to work in physically challenging conditions including: climbing ladders, scaffolding and lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification in EST/Edwards preferred (please provide date of certification). Financial assistance for certification possible.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid CA driver’s license
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (with regularly scheduled follow-ups) and be willing to complete a background and reference check
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer need

Job Type: Full-time
Start date: ASAP
Wage: Up to $50.00/hr depending on qualifications/experience
Location: This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will regularly travel to jobs within a 100-mile radius.

Sales Administrator – Full Time

We have an immediate opening for a Sales Administrator located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support our team by fielding inbound sales inquiries including collection of detailed and complete information of prospects, coordinating site surveys, preparing quotes, scheduling service/inspection calls, following up with client satisfaction, and coordinating invoicing.
  • Administer the sales pipeline, conduct customer/prospect follow-up, track customer information and annual inspection status, along with managing service/inspection calendar assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. We serve corporate (Facility Managers) and multi-unit residential complexes (Property Managers) with varying needs and the ability to adjust to personalities and styles is critical.
  • The successful Sales Administrator at 247FAS will be tech-savvy with utilizing CRM programs (we use Jobber as our CRM and dispatch tool).
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Demonstrated high-level of customer service, strong organization skills, and positive attitude are a must
  • Capability to maintain and grow the database that contains all the critical information for both current and prospective customers.
  • Knowledge of life safety systems including fire alarms and sprinklers is desired, but not required.
